Copyright Policy

This policy explains how to report copyright concerns about content hosted by Cripsy.md.

1. Respect for Intellectual Property

Cripsy.md respects intellectual-property rights and expects users to upload and share only content they own or are authorized to use.

2. Reporting Claimed Infringement

If you believe content hosted by Cripsy.md infringes your copyright, send a written notice to the copyright contact below with enough detail for us to locate and evaluate the material.

A notice should include the following information.

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including the Cripsy.md public share URL or other location information.
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that, under penalty of perjury, you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the copyright owner.

3. Our Response

When we receive a complete notice, we may remove or disable access to the material, notify the account holder when appropriate, request more information, or take other steps we believe are appropriate.

We may terminate or restrict accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights or repeatedly receive substantiated infringement notices.

4. Counter-Notices

If your content was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the copyright contact below.

A counter-notice should include the following information.

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the removed material and its prior Cripsy.md location.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal district court and will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person's agent.

5. False or Abusive Notices

Submitting false, misleading, or abusive notices or counter-notices may create legal liability. Consider speaking with a lawyer before submitting a notice if you are unsure whether your claim is valid.
